El AS431 es un regulador de derivación ajustable de tres terminales con estabilidad térmica garantizada en un rango completo de operación.
Presenta características de encendido nítido, coeficiente de temperatura bajo y baja impedancia de salida, lo que lo convierte en el sustituto ideal del diodo Zener en aplicaciones como fuentes de alimentación conmutadas, cargadores y otros reguladores ajustables. El voltaje de salida del AS431 se puede configurar en cualquier valor entre VREF (2,5 V) y el voltaje de cátodo máximo correspondiente (36 V). La referencia de precisión del AS431 se ofrece en dos tolerancias de voltaje: 0,5 % y 1,0 %.
