El MAX6138 es un circuito de referencia de voltaje de banda prohibida, de modo shunt de dos terminales y precisión, disponible en voltajes de ruptura inversa fijos de 1,2205 V, 2,048 V, 2,5 V, 3,0 V, 3,3 V, 4,096 V y 5,0 V.
Ideal para aplicaciones con limitaciones de espacio, el MAX6138 se ofrece en un encapsulado de montaje superficial SC70 de 3 pines subminiatura (1,8 mm x 1,8 mm), un 50 % más pequeño que los dispositivos comparables en encapsulados de montaje superficial SOT23.
Las resistencias recortadas con láser garantizan una precisión inicial precisa. Con un coeficiente de temperatura de 25 ppm/°C, el dispositivo se ofrece en tres grados de precisión inicial que van del 0,1 % al 0,5 %. El MAX6138 tiene una capacidad de corriente de derivación de 60 µA a 15 mA con baja impedancia dinámica, lo que garantiza una precisión de voltaje de ruptura inversa estable en un amplio rango de temperaturas y corrientes de funcionamiento.
El MAX6138 no requiere un condensador estabilizador externo y, al mismo tiempo, garantiza la estabilidad con cargas capacitivas. El MAX6138 es un dispositivo de mayor precisión en un formato más pequeño que el LM4040/LM4050.
