This application report builds up an I2C port from two pins in a McBSP, develops the I2C software driver, and interfaces with the voice-band codec(s), including TLV320AIC1103/1109 /1110, TLV320AIC12/ 13/ 14/ 15, or TLV320AIC20/ 21/ 24/ 25 devices.
